Houses of worship across the United States that would have never thought about putting together a security team are now consulting with their elders, deacons and congregations about the rise of violence in worship centers. Churches, large and small are witnessing acts of violence against its members, facilities and its faith like never before.

Any House of Worship can put together a safety team. Able body members with law enforcement or military experience or the heart to make sure the congregation is safe will do for watching over the flock protecting them from those that pose a threat to their worship center.

What do you do if evil comes into your House of Worship? Do your volunteers know what to do when these situations arise?

Here are some things to consider:

What is the policy on handling a disruptive attendee?
If an active shooter comes into your church, what is the plan for the adults? Do volunteers know where to take the children? What do the adults do in the worship center?
How do you handle domestic issues involving injunctions, custody issues or other “life issues” that get out of hand?

We are here to analyze, educate and help you build a plan to ensure the safety of your House of Worship.
